Appearances Lamplighter

A cursor is a clerk who possesses the mathematical skill to count and arithmecate (perform all manner of sums) quickly without needing to use a counting device. They work closely with tally-clerks. Both cursors and tally-clerks were employed at Winstermill to track the arrivals and departures.[1] One of the buildings just inside the gates was the Cursory.

Cursor has multiple meanings and its original meaning in Latin expresses the idea of someone or something that runs.
