Opera is a wide region lying near the east coast of the Half-Continent and south of the Verid Litus. Described on maps as "the withered remains of the beneficient lands,"[1] its borders are not mentioned but they appear to overlap those of Attica and are not part of the Haacobin Empire.[2] The Dido River watershed is part of Opera, which includes Serenisime, the former Obdormiscene, and the Autumn of Sleep.
Trivia[]
The Latin (and presumably Tutin) word "opera" refers to trouble or effort taken.
