The Stipula is part of the Seat, one of the three regions into which the Haacobin Empire is divided. Along with Agrigentum, it has been contested between the Haacobins and their predecessors the Sceptics with Sebastian for centuries.[1]
Geography[]
The Stipula lies north of the Solum Magnus and to the west and southwest of the Leven and the great chain of tablelands lying south of the Marrow. To the east are the independent state of Sebastian and the contested land of Agrigentum. Geographically it consists of uplands rising from the Grassmeer plain in the south and descending into various river valleys feeding the Wurtem marshes and the Marrow. "Stipula" seems to be the name of a region rather than a political division and consists of several smaller districts including Mendaxia, Villaparsium, Seville, Ligurium, Basterville and others.
Trivia[]
"Stipula" is a Latin word meaning "reed" or "stalk".
