Kraulschwimmen, also known as kraulswimmers, are the biggest of the nadderers, which look like enormous, grotesque fish. They live down in the depths of the vinegar seas, but come to the surface to hunt for sea vessels along the world's cargo lanes, for many have developed a "sweet tooth" for the muscles inside gastrines, vinegaroons and other sailors.

They are constantly at war with the false-gods, with whom they share control of the deep.
