Battles
Edit
I am very much a newbie where wikia contribution is concerned. That said, my goal so far has been to create starter pages that can be expanded upon by people who are more familiar with the story/subject matter.
As far as battles go, the term can be justifiably used to describe both a formal, pitched battle or any sort of engagement: an ambush, a skirmish, a meeting engagement, even an all-out campaign (Battle of the Somme, etc.) can be called a battle if it has an identifiable beginning and end and at least two sides were involved. That's my opinion, anyway. Heck, calling it the "Wormway Campaign" at all is a bit of a stretch; but I feel the succession of different battles/actions justify being given their own category, since they are interrelated and seem like part of a larger, more important plot arc occuring within the story. Again, my opinion. The attacks on lighters mentioned here and there (2nd Watch at Ashenstall wiped out, etc.) belong to it, but did not get an entry because there wasn't enough information to justify placing them in the same context. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.248.243.163 (talk • contribs) 17:03, April 4, 2012
